The FRTP is a three-day program designed to address the first response of law enforcement personnel to major incidents. The incident responses covered within this program range from criminal acts to natural disasters. This program utilizes lessons learned from previous major incidents that have occurred nationally. The after-action reports from many of these incidents have identified specific areas of need and concern for law enforcement agencies. The FRTP will provide guidelines and resources that can be considered for future responses by law enforcement personnel to major incidents. This program provides a Command Board to each student in attendance.
